Our Love Story

It all started with a Tinder date! Tiff, like any rom-com hero, was looking for love and Xavier was on their first date in 10 months. They connected over a spirit of adventure, a dislike of The Office, and a shared vision for a better world.

Xavier and Tiff saw different versions of themselves as they navigated career shifts, long therapy sessions, and learning all about love. With every turn, X and Tiff chose each other. They feel more confident than ever in this next step and are happy to share this momemnt with you all.

The Proposals

At the beginning of June, Xavier’s favorite month of the year, they decided to make their move. True to Tiff and Xavier’s six years together, Xavier planned a full day of adventure, naps in the park, and dance. Enlisting the help of Carmen, the family jeweler, and Ketchup, the family dog (thanks Sara), Xavier delivered Tiff a very special treat in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. In the neighborhood where her parents grew up and where Tiff spent years teaching local kids, Xavier asked Tiff to spend the rest of their days together. And Tiff said yes.

Tiff knew they wanted to give Xavier a Big Romantic Gesture. They knew Xavier had been wanting to visit their dear friend Hannah in Washington State, and a camping trip in June made for the perfect opportunity. Tiff, with the help of Hannah, Anna, and Xavier’s childhood friend Celena, worked together to make a super-spy plan where they surprised Xavier on a gorgeous dock near Mount St. Helens. The weekend was spent laughing, appreciating the wonders of nature, and eating lots of s’mores. Tiffany knows the love Xavier has built with them is one made for a lifetime.
